  Be among the first on the Eastern Seaboard to experience the sunrise! We’ll make sure you get to the top of the mountain early enough to take in every minute of this singular experience.

• Our Sunset Trips
  Not a morning person? No problem! We’ll take you up to the top of the mountain so you can experience the equally beautiful Cadillac sunset.
  Shuttle Reservation Required!

All services offer both Round Trip and One Way Tickets, for any Passengers interested in Hiking Up or Down the Mountain.

Shuttle Trips up the mountain and Private Tours are available May 1st-25th on an on-demand basis.

For normal Day Service, the Shuttle accepts payment on board. We take cash, cards, apple pay, and most contactless payment methods. We offer Round Trip tickets as well as One Way tickets for Hikers who want to hike up and ride down, or vice versa.

Tips are appreciated!

Sunrise Reservations can be cancelled up to 12 hours prior to the reservation time for a full refund.

Sunset Reservations can be cancelled up to 6 hours prior to the reservation time for a full refund.

Please Remember that weather is unpredictable and not within our control.

You do not need a Cadillac Summit Road Vehicle Reservation to ride the Shuttle.

However, all visitors to Acadia National Park must have some form of Park Entrance Pass, and these passes ARE required to ride the Shuttle.

Buy a Park Entrance Pass

All forms of Park Entrance Pass are accepted, including the Vehicle Entrance Pass, Senior Passes, Interagency Annual Passes, and Acadia Annual Passes. Please bring these passes with you when riding the Shuttle.

Here is a brief breakdown of the types of passes and the number of passengers in your party that they cover. For more complete information, please consult the NPS website.

Annual Pass: up to 15 Shuttle Passengers

Private Vehicle Pass: up to 15 Shuttle Passengers

Motorcycle Pass: up to 2 Shuttle Passengers

Pedestrian / Cyclist Pass: 1 Shuttle Passenger

Senior Pass, Military Pass, 4th Grader Pass: up to 5 Shuttle Passengers (or the number of seats in the associated vehicle).

America the Beautiful Pass: up to 4 Shuttle Passengers

PLEASE NOTE: As of 2026, The National Park Service has updated its annual pass and entrance fee pricing. Pricing for US residents remains unchanged, while non-US residents are subject to a new surcharge. Visit the park's website for a full list of passes and fees.

Our 2026 season officially starts on Wednesday, May 20th and runs through Sunday, October 25th.
